During the Covid-19 pandemic in year 2020 entire nation and world was stopped due to complete lockdown for fighting against corona virus. In this tough situation information technology industries (IT industries) and their employees keep moving and working spontaneously through internet and “Work from Home” mode. Similarly Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE) under the Deptt. Of Information Technology and Electronics (DIT&E), Govt. of West Bengal is continuously doing their jobs for achieving their milestones. Online Training on Cyber CDR/IPDR Forensic tools for police personnel is also such kind of project delivered by CS-CoE during this pandemic.
The online training on CDR/IPDR Forensic tools for police personnel of 31 cyber police stations consisting in West Bengal, is arranged solely by Cyber Security Centre of Excellence(CS-CoE) in collaboration with WEBEL India. It is purely technical and software oriented interactive training program. It is being conducted very attentively and carefully with small no of participant and in a phase wise manner. Each Phase includes 5 cyber PS with maximum 10 to 20 participants from them. Moto of this program is each and every police person would be an expert in this particular CDR/IPDR Tools. Program was delivered in Online Mode through google meet, a video conferencing platform. Faculty support is given by CS-CoE along with the PMU Teams.
This program is purely designed for cyber police personnel of 31 cyber police station consisting in West Bengal. Phase I of this training program is currently running with 20 no of participant from 5 cyber Police Commissionerate.List of Commissionerate are given below:
This Program was held on 12th October 2020 to 15th October 2020 from 11AM to 4PM.There are 2 sessions before lunch with one hour length each and post lunch there is a practical session of 2 hours time duration. It was an purely interactive (hands on) Online Training program.
