Online quiz programme

Online quiz programme on Cyber Security organized for generating cyber awareness among the citizens.

• Phase 01: Held at 4 pm on each day from 16th Oct 2020 to 31st Oct 2020. In total, 4400 participants took part in the quiz programme.
• Phase 02: Held at 4 pm on each Sunday from 17th Jan 2021 to 28th Mar 2021. In total, 1695 participants took part in the quiz programme.

Offline quiz programme:

CS-CoE participated in various events and organized quiz programme on Cyber Security for generating cyber awareness among the citizens.

• Milan Utsav 2021 (1st February to 5th February): 710 participants took part
• Kreta Suraksha Mela 2021 (19th February to 21st h February):209 participants took part
• Swyamsiddha Mela 2021 (19th February): 68 participants took part
• Siliguri Hachathon (17th March): 73 participants took part

Hackathon

A hackathon was organised by the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE) in collaboration with Indian School of Ethical Hacking (ISOEH Siliguri) at Webel IT Park-III, Siliguri on 17th March, 2021.

Online Training on Cyber Safety and Cyber Security for teachers/staffs/faculties of Govt. Schools, colleges and ITIs

During the Covid-19 pandemic in year 2020 entire nation and world was stopped due to complete lockdown for fighting against corona virus. In this tough situation information technology industries (IT industries) and their employees keep moving and working spontaneously through internet and “Work from Home” mode. Similarly Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE) under the Deptt. Of Information Technology and Electronics (DIT&E), Govt. of West Bengal was continuously doing their jobs for achieving their milestones. “Online Training on Cyber Safety and Cyber Security for teachers/staffs/faculties of Govt. Schools and colleges” was such an event was conducted by CS-CoE, GoWB during this pandemic scenario.

The training was on Cyber Security safety measures which one should follow while working from home or taking online classes for students. It was awareness generation program for masses. It was basically organized for Government teachers and faculties of different schools, colleges and ITIs. They registered themselves on ISEA Web portal in this given link http://www.infosecawareness.in/tech-trv/. Program was delivered in Online Mode and streaming through on Youtube channel. Program Conducted by the ISEA, Hyderabad and CS-CoE and faculty support was given by CDAC KOLKATA and CS-CoE.

This Program was held on 14th July 2020 to 17th July 2020 from 11AM to 2PM. Duration of the session for each day was 2hours and rest used for doubt clearing session. It was an Online mode Training program.

3350 candidates were registered for the training program. 3038 candidates successfully completed the program with certification. But youtube channel was hit with more than 7 thousand viewer record.
