Using the online platform available in the portal, cyber-hygiene is extensively promoted among citizens by launching of a mission-mode programme with specific focus on 'senior citizens, school children, house wives and youths.' A mobile app with the name 'CyberYoddha' is used for generating widespread awareness. Using the said character, 2D-videos have been made and circulated in social media.
The well-defined citizen centric awareness generation programme aims at delivering 'cyber-crime do's & don'ts' as a proactive mitigation initiative. Awareness about cybercrime and cyber-hygiene are being introduced in schools by proposing the Education Department to add 'Cyber Security' as a component of the school curriculum. We have also conducted Training of Master Trainers where we have provided training to Academicians also.
